What the freaking piece of... something...

That last one is just insanely epic... How long did that take you?? Somebody needs to make a colored version of that one. It is truly one amazing piece of artwork, even though certain aspects are traced if I'm not mistaken?

It didn't take a hugely long time... In total, I suppose, it's been just over 5 hours? I suppose compared to the others it took a rather long time.
And I'm planning to do a coloured version of it when I'm finished, actually. By hand, of course, but if someone wants to make a computer coloured one, they can go ahead.

I am insulted! No, I don't trace. I did have a few pictures as references for poses (I think Link was copied more or less exactly from a picture). I reference, not trace. Don't worry, I'm not hugely offended or anything. I actually learnt shading by tracing a picture and trying to imitate colour depth in pencil, so I think it's a useful thing to do.

Okay, I haven't even finished the original, and I'm starting a coloured version. Depending on how far I am, I might post a picture of it in the next few days or so...

Yep, that's the picture I used as a reference. I don't think you can see it very well, but in my drawing I tried to make it look like he's smiling...? He's definitely not frowning as he is in that picture...
