My own Fan Art ♥

I just noticed this here, and I felt compelled to start my own thread,
if not just so I can see my own improvement over time.
If you follow the WMB DA then you've probably seen these already,
haha!

I don't have any idea how to place these under a spoiler tag,
so I've tried to make them small enough to not be eye-sores >O<

I drew the last picture last night, and really rushed on Midna's helmet details
(it was two in the morning, or there abouts, and I was about to call it quits anyway, haha).
When I'm able to buy a new tablet, I'll try to do things that look nicer...
First I've been thinking about buying some coloured pencils though, since right
now all I've got to draw with is a mechanical pencil (and the tip on an eraser).

Time for more practise now, though. I will improve! >O<

These are pretty awesome, very awesome indeed. The one snag I have to point out is some of the postures seem a bit rigid and unnatural, like the middle pic, the arm Midna's waving with seems a bit blocky and rigid, but that's just something that eventually fades with practice. Great stuff .

In the middle one, you can't see because it's small,
but there's actually her tears there, like the ones that shattered the mirror~ xD
They were almost cut out of the original photo (no scanner) as it was,
so it being small made it disappear, haha!

My big problem with that picture is her eye is a little off,
and her left hand is a little small...
But, like is said, practise, practise, practise!

(If only I'd not put off learning drawing both eyes and hands so long, haha!)

I'm not so great at shading/texturing, so I'll post the pictures here when I colour them~ (^w^)
I'll probably try a practise run on a different drawing I'm not as fond of first, haha!

Try different things, help broaden you palette a little bit, if anything just for the sake of adventure.

I coloured the last two~!
Often, though, the pencils would break,
so I started and stopped often...

I kind of wish I would have waited and bought
better quality pencils than Crayola, haha! (^_^')





I'm not very fond of how they turned out, but I'll keep at it until I get better pencils!
For a bit now, I'm going to work on my FF though, and take a break for a few days
from drawing, so I don't get sick of it, haha! (-_^)/

Wow! The coloring you did looks great! Espescially seeing as how they were crayola penicl crayons!
