Hey, old-timer! This is for the discussion of all video game-related topics, excluding those from this current generation of consoles.

Just posting here to count myself as those of use who play MTG. :D

Current decks are:
Standard: Red Aggro

Commander: Blue-Black Grim-Grin (aka, pump Grim-Grin and swing for the win)

I plan on making a green aggro deck after standard rotates. Or a blue-green flicker deck that abuses the hell out of Thragtusk. Five life and a 3/3 for 1U? As many times as you want in one turn? Yes please.

Alright, so I'm experimenting with a new deck I made and I thought I'd post it here for some expert advice on how to get this thing moving in the right direction. I tried my best to keep the cards within the same series, so I ended up using a lot of Scars of Mirrodin cards. You guys would probably kill me if I were in your vicinity because I included every color in it. I don't know if it's a good deck, either, because I win and lose like 50% of the time. Anyway, here's my deck:

My question for this deck, is why does it need Liquimetal coating? It seems like it already has enough artifacts to activate metal craft, like, all the time and the Juggernaut getting pumped for one doesn't really seem like a big deal. I would swap them out for more Darksteel Juggernauts or Steel Hellkites. Or maybe put in something like Prototype Portal to make some copies of the Juggernaut.

Prototype Portal:

Also, some of your stuff that messes with opponents artifacts would maybe be better if it just messed with your opponents things in general. For example, Rust Tick, Viridian Revel and Turn to Slag would maybe be better off as Contagion Engine, Shock, Incinerate, Dispense Justice, Doom Blade or something else that doesn't rely on them having artifacts.

Contagion Engine:

Dispense Justice:

Those are some of my thoughts.

Your deck really looks like a mess of everything artifacts. I'm mainly saying take out at least two colors, mainly for the fact that it looks like you miss a lot of land drops. I'm thinking the best two to take out would be most likely black and Blue.

Ok thanks guys. I'll look into those cards, Mynx, and I do agree with you Sho now that I look at it that way.

Time for a deck cleaning.
