Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Anybody here looking forward to this? The original game, despite being so brief, introduced some really neat concepts that I had hoped to see expanded upon. So, the mere existence of Dark Moon is sure to make the world a better place. Definitely one of my most anticipated games of the year.

I loved the original one, and I would look forward to this game, but... I don't have a 3DS. And I don't think I'm getting one any time soon if I want an xbox...

It just seems so obvious now. It was always the banana, this entire time.

Luigi's Mansion Delayed in Release Date Shuffle

I don't know about you, but I'm, more or less, okay with this news. Even without this game, I feel like the remainder of this year is being oversaturated with Mario titles. I mean, I'll still buy New Super Mario Bros. 2, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, and New Super Mario Bros. U, but... Y'know. :P

Screw the Xbox and everything there is to it. All you get is a bunch of shooters that completely wastes your time by encouraging you to do "satisfying" challenges. No, and more no. If there's any console you should buy, then it's the PS3, and that's only if you want JRPGs like I do. If you don't want JRPGs, then you should just buy a gaming rig or simply buy the 3DS instead. Excuse me for shooting opinions all over the place, but this is not just an opinion, it's a crucial and life saving fact. Damn, I wish I had a PS3 instead of this heat creating monster.

As for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Yes, it's something I'll buy for sure. I need more games for my 3DS, and quite frankly, there's more games to it and the DS than there is to the Wii. I love my 3DS so much. Besides, Luigi's Mansion was so much fun.

Sep. 1:

I got a chance to play this game, earlier today. Despite being unable to yell "MARIO" on a whim, I had a blast. The ghosts, especially, seem to be more varied than they were in the original game.

UPDATE: Forgive the outrageous bump to this thread, but this game is set to release tomorrow. Just out of curiosity, is anybody else planning on picking this up?

I've been thinking about getting this game and...maybe. I've never played the original, but I might give this game a try if I feel like it. I just have other games on my plate right now.
