So i recently got back into playing Minecraft on me and my friends server after a long time away due to some... uh... stuff...
Anyway, after flying around in our world a little i realized that we had actually made quite a few Zelda related builds and i figured it wouldn't be all to inappropriate to share them here. I also figured since i didn't find any other Minecraft related threads, that if you play that game and have some cool builds you would like to show off, post them here. If nobody here plays Minecraft though, this thread is very much obsolete and might aswell be deleted. Anyways... Here are some of the things we've made.
Since this image is by far the most appropriate, i thought i'd post this first. Here's my first attempt at building Midna in Minecraft. I can't really take credit for anything except the process of building it. The image i used as reference was found on DeviantART. I actually built this just a day or two after finishing Twilight Princess. I wasn't gonna stay on the server for much longer after that...

Midna
Before i finished TP but recently after i finished OoT we built this. It may be worth noting that i was almost alone in not having played the Zelda games when we started the server. As such they knew what i was building and was often able to help me with it. So here's the Temple of Time.

This thing was also built pretty recently after i had finished OoT. There was a huge freaking desert biome of which we often got lost in so i built this as a landmark. Later though, we installed a portal plugin which made it obsolete in that matter. It still looks cool though, right?

Another thing we started building in the desert but something we didn't have time to finish before i left was the Gerudo Valley. Even though it is still very much a work in progress i felt like posting it anyway.

And one last image, one of us proved to be very fun to troll so me and another built dungoens, filled them with traps, removed the operator rights of one of us and teleported him into the dungoen, forcing him to complete it to get out. Man, seeing him fall in lava, get crushed, killed by arrows and drowning over & over again was fun... Eventually we dicided to take on a very big project and recreate hell and put him there.

Water Temple
We actually built the whole thing. We even used a plugin to make switches that altered the water level for maximum similarity. I don't know what i was thinking when i took that picture though. I would go back and take another one but he who hosts the server is gone for the day...
Anyway... This is what i got... So far... If you got any cool builds, please share them, i for one would love to see them

I wonder why no one has posted anything similar before, I swear at least someone has played this game before other than me. All that I have captured on picture is:

And it was at the time when I thought Prt Scrn was the only way to screenshot Minecraft. Didn't know there was a built-in feature that let you take a picture of just the game. Me and my friend used to play on a server and we created a whole kingdom of enormous buildings. Too bad he stopped playing and I think he deleted the server aswell, so there will sadly not be any more pictures from me. I have, though, been working on my house in Minecraft. It's incredibly cozy and I built it in a desert for some reason for those of you who're interested, haha.

I guess I should be bumping this thread as people may or may not find this interesting. I recently started playing with my friend again, which is like, inconceivable. If you knew him, you'd know what I'm talking about. He actually suggested starting to play this game again and happiness quickly arose inside of me. We took down some hours today to build some farms and then I built this Castle entirely by myself that I guess I'd like to share with you people who find it cool or amazing or whatever. And yes, do believe it or not, I suck at taking pictures.

I guess you could say there's more to see, but there's nothing of value inside of the towers that I didn't show you, and quite frankly, I don't like taking pictures anyway.

Damn, Xytox. That's a pretty nice build. Nice color combination too Also, the fact that you built it in a snow biome makes it feel very... Swedishy... We actually stopped playing Minecraft on our server when the 360 edition came out. Now we play 4 player split screen instead becuase it's alot funnier when you're in the same room. We did build some cool stuff during the first few hours but then everyone just torched each others houses and we just focused on killing each other, lol.

It's funny. I actually didn't think of that for a second. The colors were based of the standard colors on the small door in my texture pack, that's why it's blue and yellow. With the snow, my friend chose the place for me as he thought it was pretty epic. I guess I'm just too Swede to actually avoid swedishness in my buildings. I probably should be somewhat happy about that, lawl.

Hey guys, I'm a minecraft noob. I have some questions:
- It's for pc right? - how do I get it (downloaded or physically bought)? - is it free? - what's the point of the game? (Other than mining)

Okay. PC, iOS.
How do you get it? You download it off Minecraft.net, I think it is. It costs $20 for the legal version, last I checked. Point? Well, theres building things like houses, forts, castles, mines, so on. Mining materials, constructing items, Exploring natural (randomly generated) caves.
If you play the survival mode, then there are undead and evil creatures that attack you at night.
You can also play online at a variety of different servers. Creative mode ones, Survival mode ones, and even PvP.
Thats pretty much it.

Basically, there's no point for the game. It's a sandbox game where you basically do whatever you want. It's possible to mod, so you can literally almost do whatever you want. The game does exist on the 360 and the gaming phone (that I think Sony created?) aswell.
Worth the money? I would probably say no. The game itself has no content whatsoever and Notch has no idea how to handle a game and how to do the community happy. The things that get implemented are basically things that no one has any use of. He puts in whatever he feels like putting in, and it's often just jokes and no real things that would help how an average Minecrafter plays the game nowadays. That's where modding comes in so it actually becomes worth the money- if you play it on the PC that is.

I know that MRUS and Xytox kind of explained this but i'd like to give my opinion aswell... First though i'll answer your questions. 1. It's available for PC, Xbox 360 and certain phones. 2. It's only available via download. 3. It's not free. I think it's about 20 dollars or 1600 MS Points. 4. The point? Well, er... Survive and build i guess. Theres a never ending day/night cycle and during the nights there are monsters that kill you. You need to build a shelter before that. My first night in that game was worse than Amnesia. I was scared out of my mind becuase i didn't have a roof for my house and zombies kept dropping in... There is no story or quests whatsoever though. I would definetley say that it's worth the money. I've had hundreds of enjoyable hours in that game.
