Custom picks

What? You mean you're drawing/writing about something other than the Twilight Princess? Well, post it here; we'd love to see it.

So I've been making guitar picks, if you're into that kind of thing. It's kind of a superior hybrid of digital and hand art so here it goes in the similarly superior unclassified board. Here's a picture of my first two.

I made a bunch since then, but never took any pictures because I forgot, and then either lost or gave them all away. Months later, here's a new batch in the making.

These are all pretty neat. This might sound odd, but have you ever considered selling some of these online? I don't mean to turn this into another "project," but I would totally buy a few that featured the WMB logo. :P

And now we're finished. Added a black and white pen drawn one at the last second because why not.

Glued and cured, super rough versions:

Finished versions. I lost one of the Majora's Mask ones when the buffer shot it from my hands and into the depths of the garage. An hour of searching proved fruitless.

As for making these for people, I'd definitely be cool with that. If you're planning to actually use them, though, I warn you, they're super thick. I personally really like this about them because I break picks all the time, but they're weird to get used to if that's not your style. I can sand them down further to reduce the thickness but you'll have to specify what kind of picks you normally get so I know what I'm aiming for.

EDIT: Here's a comparison picture with a quarter to give you an idea of how thick these are.

And here's a video demonstrating the sound of a Fender heavy pick (first) compared to one of those shiny Haunters (second). Basically the added thickness really beefs up your volume when you play hard because it doesn't flex at all. But it can be a bit clumsier trying to do more nimble stuff.
